International recording artists “The Newz” is a blues-based, pop/rock band, born in the late 1970s in Fargo, ND. After a hiatus in the 2000s, the band is back with a new LP, their 4th. The core of the band consists of:

Jon “Stan” Nyborg - guitar and vocals
Gordon Christensen - vocals, guitar and keyboards
Brad Kittelson - bass and vocals
Meryl Willert - drums

The band is once again attracting audiences around the region with their melodic hooks and outstanding guitar riffs that define the bands original material. And original material is what they do with a few cover songs mixed into the show. The music is infectious with 3 part harmonies and world-class musicianship from 4 seasoned pros.
