Austin James is a solo-acoustic singer & songwriter from Duluth, Minnesota. James will be releasing his debut album, Return From Moon, Vol. 2: The Black Ocean in March of 2020 and this preview show will take you through the entire album from start to finish.

James will share stories about his journey through young adulthood and the experiences in his life that helped form this record. Influences include Chevelle, Coheed & Cambria, Tool, Sevendust, Deftones, Hopesfall and Julien Baker.

Return From Moon is a culmination of James' life up to this point and it does not shy away from topics such as depression, anxiety, insecurity, social media, and the loss & rediscovery of identity. The album is heavy, fast, sad, angry, reflective, hopeless, hopeful, and introspective. Join Mr. James, his friends, and his family as we take a journey inside his life and hopefully, into your soul.
